Sales Administrator – £22,000

Our Client, a well-established engineering Company based in Burntwood near Cannock, Staffordshire are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to ensure that all quotations are followed up and sales opportunities for the Company are maximised. Competitive starting salary of £22,000.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a “floating” role across a number of departments and will be perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, varied role who is able to work autonomously.


The successful candidate will be required to:-

Follow up on quotations which have been sent to customers for both parts and service contracts.

Assist with sourcing new opportunities to be quoted in order to maximise sales for the Company.

Overcome objections from clients.

Achieve daily and weekly targets.

Build strong business relationships.

Log quotations on to CRM system.

Up sell to existing customers.

Contribute to team targets to ensure business division is profitable.

Identify opportunities to process orders and close sales.

Liaise with external Account Managers/ Business Development managers to share leads/ knowledge.

Produce reports on sales progress.

Provide an exceptional level of customer service.

Complete required administration for each customer account.

Provide client aftercare.

Be accountable for personal performance.


The ideal candidate will have:-

Worked in a similar role previously.

Experience producing quotations.

An organised nature.

Good level of accuracy and attention to detail.

A customer focused approach.

An excellent telephone manner.

Proven track record managing own time and workload.

Experience with objection handling.

Understanding of sales process.

Ability to multi-task.

A tenacious, hardworking approach.

Full UK driving licence.
