Our client, a well established, market leading, engineering Company based in Staffordshire are looking for an experienced Account Manager to maintain the businesses’ large/ high spend Accounts, dealing with day to day queries/ contractual matters and ensuring Service Level Agreements are adhered to.

A competitive starting salary of £26,000 – £28,000 will be offered.

The successful Key Account Manager will be required to:-

Manage existing Client accounts, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
Act as a point of contact for existing customers on commercial and contractual matters.
Build and maintain strong business relationships.
Visit Clients on site.
Ensure SLA’s are adhered to.
Liaise with external sales staff and Clients to ensure all contractual matters are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Manage day to day issues with Client accounts.
Ensure Client receives products/ services in line with the sales agreement.
Check that Contracts and Terms of Business are accurate and understood by Clients.
Ensure contractual documentation is accurate.
Resolve credit queries.
Resolve complaints/ issues in a timely manner.
Maintain Client records and produce reports to show KPI’s. Monitor any negative variance against KPI and SLA.
Complete all associated Client paperwork.

 

The ideal Key Account Manager will have:-

Strong communication skills at all levels.
Experience within a sales/ account management role.
An understanding of SLA’s and an ability to manage effectively.
– An ability to interpret contractual language.
Strong administration and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent IT skills, including use of CRM system.
Good presentation skills, with a confident approach.
An ability to build strong business relationships.
Experience within technical/ industrial/ engineering industries.
Project management experience (desirable).
Analytical and logical approach.
Assertive nature.
Planning experience with the ability to multitask.
Ability to use own initiative.
Ability to see jobs through to completion.
Full UK driving licence (essential).

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
